Confide - 3/20/10
This past Saturday at Chain Reaction was the Royal Family Tour featuring From First To Last, Eyes Set To Kill, Confide, Black Veil Brides, Sleeping with Sirens, and Rosalynn. It was a night full of fun and intense rocking out. Over the winter Confide went into the studio to record their second album, which will be released in May 2010. Aside from various mini shows/tours, The Royal Family Tour is the first tour for Confide since their recording session.
As Confide was setting up the you could clearly see the anticipation from the fans anxiously waiting for the band to start. The lights dimmed and the band huddle in front of the drum set engaging in what seems like their pre-show ritual. Immediately they begin “Can’t See The Forest For The Trees” and the crowd quickly went into a frenzy as they sang along with the band. Within their set, Confide introduced a brand new song off their new record, “I Never Saw It Coming” that had heavy guitar breakdowns similar to that of A Day To Remember. The fan response was great. As their set came to an end you could see that the fans were leaving stoked on how great the set was, which is what Confide really strives to do.
Although Confide has gone through some member changes over the years they still stay true to what they are about and the message they want to get through to their fans. The positive message they emit is what makes them so good as a band.
